The Wien Opera has a very sad destiny. Two of its architects died shortly after finishing of this neorenesance artistic piece (1869). Why? The style of this building was strongly criticized in late 19th century. Most probablz, both architects - Eduard van der Null (I think that the name chose his distany) and August Sicardsburg - could not stand the intensive daily critique. Anyway, I am posting a picture so that you can make your own opinion.
